Trisha Smith, DPT, C/NDT, CKTP

Trisha Fe Marie Smith became an adapted aquatic therapy specialist while completing her Bachelors of Kinesiology with a focus on Exercise Physiology at CSU: Northridge.  She then went on to earn her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Washington University in St. Louis in 2011.  As a student, she had an internship at Pediatric Therapy Network in Torrance where she began focusing on her career in pediatric physical therapy.  Upon graduation, Trisha initiated the company's expansion into pediatric care at Complete Physical Therapy that provided both land and aquatic based therapy.  Trisha then broadened her pediatric experienced while at United Cerebral Palsy Association of Orange County, and provided in-home physical therapy for Westside and Harbor Regional center.  She furthered her experience into the school setting at Kids in Motion Pediatric Therapy clinic.  She has received her certification in Neuro-Developmental Treatment in August 2014, and became a Kinesiotape Practitioner April 2016 to increase her available adjunct therapies.  She continues to seek professional growth to address each individual child’s developmental delays and movement impairments, which limit their ability to explore their environment, and to participate and engage with their family, friends, and peers.
